Area of origin : Ololo Etymology:Luo-flavored version of the name Kaloleni - Co-incidentally, most of its original & oldest inhabitants are from the Luo community - many who were Railways workers.The area was originally designated for residential use in 1927 but wasn't fully-built till about 1948 when it was given to KAR soldiers returning from WWII.
