Derived from Spanish word "Diablo" which means Devil though the 1990 movie "El Diablo" was its original source.
The word "Diablo" was said out as "Diamblo" probably due to the Kamba accent influence on the word introducing the "M" sound. Eventually over time, the "El" bit of the word got lost
